In our hearts. On our campus. To our world.

The Chaplain's Office exists to minister to the spiritual needs and faith development of our campus community and our greater world through our campus ministries and student missions programs. We aim to advance the kingdom of God on earth by preparing members of our community to go out from our campus and answer the call of the Great Commission of Matthew 28: 18-20.  It is the sincere hope of the Chaplain's Office that we will help magnify the love of Jesus in our hearts, on our campus, and to our world.

In our hearts.

This includes our discipleship opportunities that helps your wrestle with what it means to follow Jesus and go deeper in your walk with Him.  We have small groups, prayer ministries, a prayer house to gather in along with an extra chapel open morning-noon-night, as well as opportunities for Bible Study, Baptismal Study, Pre-marital counseling, spiritual counseling/encouragement, and more.

On our campus.

This includes all of our many corporate worship opportunities that could start as early as 7:30 a.m. with hymns and prayer at Heubach Chapel, up to 8pm on Friday night with our beloved Vespers program; there are nearly 20 different worship opportunities throughout campus every week for you to find a home that will help you grow closer to Christ with others.

To our world.

This includes all of the ways WWU tries to live generously in service to others as the hands and feet of Jesus.  In addition to short-term trips, community service opportunities, and projects like ASWWU's global service department, we also send students to serve as missionaries around the world and offer one of the largest Seventh-day Adventist mission programs in North America, with approximately 70 students heading out each year to serve as teachers, deans, orphanage care givers, partners with ADRA/Adventist World Radio/Adventist Frontier Missions and more.
